Timeline OutDoor 2017

Application process: 

September 2016 – January 2017

  • You will receive the Exhibitors Documents by post (application form + information file), also online
  • Possibly write your location preferences on the application form, hall allocation will be realised best possible
  • Minimum stand size 9 sqm
  • Stand rental costs 135 EUR/sqm  (open-air exhibition ground: 71 EUR/sqm) only for the space: no stand construction (walls, carpet etc.) included!
  • Attention: Closing date January 13, 2017! Fax or email sufficient
  • OutDoor will confirm the receipt of your application by email; you will receive order forms for promotion material and a room reservation from as well

Hall allocation

End  of  January – April 2017

  • Allocation of the halls with regard to products (categories like shoes, fashion, mountaineering equipment…); chronological order of applications is not decisive for the stand positioning
  • Individual stand offers by e-mail
  • You have to re-confirm the stand location by e-mail for finally booking this stand!


March – April  2017

You will receive the admission documents by post

  • Admission invoice (stand rental fee, AUMA fee, possibly power consumption like in the previous year, waste disposal fee and media entry fee (for prices see application). By that time no payment is due! Termof payment after receipt of invoice: 50 % immediately, 50 % by April 13, 2017. (Easiest way of payment: Form. No.1 – Direct-debit mandate for credit cards)
  • Stand plan and hall plan
  • Online Service Center

Attention: Closing date for technical orders Mai 2,  2017!


April - May 2017

  • Catalogue entries: You will receive the login data by e-mail for entries in OutDoor Catalogue (Handbook) as well as OutDoor Guide
  • Attention: The Catalogue entry will not be made automatically! Please make your entry online;
    Closing date approx. in the beginning of April 2017
  • OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD 2017: You will receive the application brochure online for your participation in the OutDoor INDUSTRY AWARD, also online at: www.outdoor-industry-award.de
  • Attention: Closing date AWARD: May 2017
  • Booking of marketing services: Advertising spaces, Banner, Logos, Sponsoring
  • Booking of Conference rooms
  • Inquiries for Stand parties
  • Booking of media services like e.g. New product announcements, Personalities at your stand, Press conferences, Press boxes at the press center/online
  • Guest tickets: You will receive the requested number of 1 day or 4 day ticket vouchers by post, for your customer mailings
  • Ticket shop for visitors online; also exchanging Vouchers online
  • Parking tickets: You will receive by post the ordered numbers of parking tickets between the halls; all other parking spaces are for free/without parking ticket

Stand engineering

May 2017

  • Closing date for Technical forms : May 2, 2017 (Invoice directly from sub-contractors)
  • Exhibitor passes: You will receive the free exhibitor passes (number depending from the stand size) by post; further exhibitor passes can be ordered by E-Mail
  • Attention: You will receive the exhibitor passes by E-Mail once the admission invoice is paid in full (due on April 13, 2017)

Construction and Dismantling

June 2017

Construction time

10. - 15.06. | 07:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Construction premature | before 10.06.2017

100 EUR per day (prebooking until June 1, 2017 with the project management). Opening hours for premature build up are: 08:00 a.m. - 06.00 p.m.

Entry permit deposit:

During construction time a deposit for the entry of vehicles into the show grounds will be applied this year:

Cars: 100,00 €

Trucks: 200,00 €

Construction main hall way carpet | Saturday 17.06.2017

The main hall ways have to be free of building material, because of the carpet laying. It is not allowed to drive with vehicles on the carpet!


Dismantling time

21.06.2017  |  from 5:30 p.m. continuous (Open for vehicles from 6 p.m.)

22. - 25.06.2017  |  07:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Other dismantling times upon request.

Terms of payment

50 % immediately, 50 % by April 13, 2017. Invoices issued after April 13, 2017 have to be paid in full immediately. (Most convenient: Please use direct-debit mandate for credit cards form no. 1 ).

Should the offers of our caterers not come up to your expectations you can ask the Team EUROBIKE
for a special authorization for commissioning your own catering company for EUROBIKE 2016. Only when you have the written permission from Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH your commissioned catering company will receive an entry permit (€ 100/day/vehicle). This fee must be paid in cash at the gate. If this special permission is not on hand, the security staff is authorized to refuse your catering service entry to the exhibition grounds.
